What are the symptoms of menopause?
The main symptom of menopause is a permanent stop to periods. Other signs and symptoms can be physical and psychological. Some women may not experience symptoms at all, while others can experience symptoms that interfere with their daily life. These can include: Changes in periods alterations, which can involve the frequency and how heavy or light periods are; hot flushes and night sweats; dry vagina; urinary incontinence; psychological symptoms such as depression, anxiety, loss of concentration and poor short-term memory; palpitations; light-headedness or dizziness; joint and muscular aches and pains; dry skin; unusual tiredness, and; weight gain.
