Is there a way to prevent depression?
There is no known way to prevent depression. Taking steps to reduce stress and improve self-confidence may reduce the chance of developing the condition, or prevent a relapse. Recognizing the signs and symptoms of depression early and seeking treatment may help prevent symptoms from getting worse.
