Can vitiligo be reversed?

Corticosteroids and immunosuppressant medications may prevent the spread of white patches, or even restore natural skin color in some people. These medications may be used alone or in combination with ultraviolet (UV) light therapies. Skin treated with UV light turns pink at first and then begins to return to its original color as it heals.
